Who Series Six - New Title Revealed!

Photobucket

Well it is official: Neil Gaiman’s episode—the fourth now in the lineup—will be named ‘The Doctor’s Wife’. Guest stars will involve Suranne Jones as Idris, ‘an old acquaintance with a new face’ along with Michael Sheen, Elizabeth Berrington and Adrian Schiller.

Personally, am undecided about this. Should I be excited or cry? ‘The Doctor’s Wife’ sounds just a wee bit ominous, too similar to the terrifying episode of series four about the Timelord’s female clone. Nevertheless, I want to give it the benefit of the doubt, hoping against hope that this ‘wife’ is only River (time can NOW be rewritten, remember?), as that’s one thing I can cope with considering that that theory has been shoved down the fan’s throat since ‘Silence in the Library’ way back in ‘08. So I will just patiently wait ‘til the episode airs THEN make my decision.

Still, each series need as least one ‘downer’ episode, doesn’t it? (Victory of the Daleks, anyone? :P ) It makes the rest of the series seem so much better in comparison…
