Hello readers--well, family and a few selective friends :P Yes, you know who you are, am talking to you Denyers, Painters, a select few Horns, Becs and Ju …among others ;)
Just updating The Who Review with this quickie message to let you know that (a) it’s still alive, and (b) I haven’t abandoned it. As you should all know, good TV shows are seriously sparse at the moment, and yes I know I promised reviews for shows like Glee but they just aren’t coming naturally to me, which of course means that they ain’t (yes, yes, I know ‘aren’t’) happening any time soon. So glad I got a Sherlock review done though--now that was a great show wasn’t it? Slight disappointing ending but eh, the rest of the series makes up for the rather anti-climactic finale. But it really was the wonders of Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss on a good day.
So, any good telly shows coming about soon? Not that I know of that can be reviewed by my goodish self, although there are a few movies out I’d love to see and review--still owe a certain someone an Inception review actually… Ah, now I come to think of it there IS The Sarah Jane Adventures, a bit childish I know, but worth a go I suppose! Especially the 11/Jo episode, ‘Death of the Doctor’ bound to be a good’un and bring in the viewing figures… one to think about at least.
On a different note, I have been bragging about the Who Proms that was finally (visually) aired this week, so I may get round to doing a review of that over the next few days--although probably not this week considering my driving theory is on Thursday and need to revise like tomorrow doesn’t even exist… In the meantime, may I drag your eyes downwards to this beauty? Worth spending fifty-odd quid just to gaze at the cover for a while, don’t you think?
Oh, and two more things;
1. It’s been exactly a month and a day since I posted anything here, and-
2. Today’s the ninth anniversary of 9/11--terrible day, but already nine years since! Time does go fast…
